The first day of fall is next week, but there probably aren’t any leaf piles to jump in justtttt yet.
This could be a good time to make a list of three or four fun things you want to do in this new season. Maybe it’s picking out a pumpkin, checking out pretty leaves, or braving a haunted corn maze!
Need some ideas? Glad you asked.
Make leaf rubbings from trees in your backyard – All you need is paper, leaves, wax paper and crayons!
Build a fire and make s’mores! – Just in case you needed an excuse to eat a s’more or three.
Stargaze autumn constellations – Before it gets too cold out!
Plant bulbs for the spring – By the time April rolls around, you’ll have a yard full of happy blooms!
Make a fall treat – Something cinnamon-y, pumpkin-ful, or candy corny would be delicious right about now!
And if all else fails, Talk Like a Pirate. After all tomorrow is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and yo-ho-ho, we want to build girls of courage, confidence, and character who make thee world a better haven!
